Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s iron exports grew by 13% year-on-year in May, according to a report released by the Export Council for Building Materials (ECBM).
The North African country’s iron exports increased to EGP 1.44 billion ($84 million) in May, compared to EGP 1.27 billion ($71 million) in the year-ago period.
Saudi Arabia topped importers, as the oil-rich Sheikdom’s iron imports from Egypt reached EGP 340 million ($20 million) in May.
